The holidays are upon us! And while we’re gearing up for fun, family, food, and festivities, the Blood Bank of Delmarva is preparing for a challenging time in maintaining the community’s blood supply. So to make sure there’s enough life-saving blood available for the entire holiday season, WSTW is proud to support the Blood Bank of Delmarva’s Holiday Heroes campaign… in typical fun, WSTW fashion!
On Saturday, December 1st, the Blood Blank of Delmarva is kicking off the campaign with a blood drive on Saturday, December 1st, from 7am to 4pm. WSTW will be on-site from 11am to 3pm, and we’re making a bit of a competition out of it. Team Wake Up Crew with Nancy and Joe, onsite from 11-1p. When you register to participate whichever team has the most number of turnouts throughout the month of December will win the competition. The first 100 people who come out to donate on December 1st will receive a WSTW pop socket. In addition, every person that donates between December 1st and January 6th will have an opportunity to register for a trip for two.
